Johnny Anzaldua, age 58, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2023, at his home in Olney. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday May 27, 2023, at the Hope Fellowship Church in Olney, Texas.  All are welcome to attend as they would like between 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Johnny was born on September 13, 1964, in Olney, Texas to the late Gregorio G. Anzaldua, Jr. and Dora (Garza) Anzaldua. He was a lifetime resident of Olney and graduated from Olney High School in 1984. He played football for the Cubs and received an "O" award for track. He also received numerous awards for boxing. Johnny worked for Tower Extrusions for over 35 years. He loved to watch sports, especially football and boxing and was a big fan of the Minnesota Vikings. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and was very devoted to them.

Johnny is survived by three daughters: Amber Bingham, Amanda Fox and Jasmine Anzaldua all of Olney; one son, Juan Anzaldua of Olney; one brother, Felix Anzaldua of Olney; four sisters: Lupe Fitzer of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Margie Watson of Hye, Texas, Sylvia Uythoven of Wichita Falls, Texas and Mary Loeffert of Texas City, Texas; and three grandchildren.
