Joyce Marie Smith Roberts, 87, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Hospice of Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Southside Baptist Church in Olney with Andy Graham, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery in Olney, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Joyce was born on June 15, 1929 in Olney Texas, to the late Samuel Fletcher Smith and Denie Mae (Nicholson) Smith. She married J. T. Roberts on February 8, 1947 in Archer City. She was a lifetime resident of Olney and a member of Southside Baptist Church. She spent many years working for Dr. Harrell's office and had been a clerk at Atchley Insurance Agency. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; her husband J. T. Roberts on November 26, 2004; two sisters: Pauline Earle and Ruthel Orr; and one brother, Raymond Smith.

Joyce is survived by one son, Wayne Roberts of Olney; two daughters: Angela Williams and husband Robert of Kent, Ohio and Kathy Woodall and husband Glen of Olney, Texas; her beloved boy, Gibbs; three grandchildren: Samantha Talley, Joshua Williams, Katy Grubbs; three great-grandchildren: Ryan Talley, Lexie McKisic, Trenton Grubbs; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lunn Funeral Home.
