Juanema Wilborn St. John
Juanema Wilborn was born on November 16, 1923 in Young County, TX to Dee and Wilma Mason Wilborn. She was the eldest of the four daughters, Norma, Gaye and Faye. Juanema attended school in Bitter Creek and participated in half-court basketball and oratory competition.
Juanema married Aubrey St. John on December 16, 1939 in Olney, TX. Aubrey and Juanema grew in love for over seventy-two years. During the World War II, she worked in the factory supporting the war efforts while Aubrey served in the Merchant Marines. In her early years was a member of the Sweet Adelines and Graham Cracker Women Chorus. From their union they had two children, John Stanley and Debra Dee St. John. Juanema was a homemaker and a bible school teacher. She and Aubrey owned and operated the Montgomery Ward Agency for nine years. She also served as a den mother for the cub scouts. She volunteered at Hamilton Hospital. Juanema was a member of Hamilton Street Church of Christ. Juanema was an avid reader and spent many hours at the Olney Public Library. She was an active member of the Ladies Bible class until her health failed.
Juanema is preceded in death by her parents Dee and Wilma, her sisters Norma Wilburn and Faye Barr, and her beloved husband Aubrey.
Juanema is survived by her sister Gaye Davis, her children John (Tena) and Debra (Pam) all of Denton, TX, four grandchildren, Alice (Chris) Beatson of Cary, North Carolina, Kure Croker of New Orleans, Louisiana, Dan (Wendy) St. John of Acworth, Georgia, Trent (Heather) Croker of Haslet, TX, one bonus granddaughter Antoinette (Donta') Avery of Katy, TX. Other survivors include five great grandchildren, Kayla and Aubrey St. John, Bryce and Jack Beatson, and Sadie Croker and one bonus great grandson, Isaiah Avery.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2019 at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2019 in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery.
