Judy Marie (Woodall) Hobbs, age 69, passed away Monday, April 25, 2022, at her home in Newcastle, Texas.  Family visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 28, 2022, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Rev. Jessie Edwards, pastor of First Baptist Church in Newcastle, officiating. Interment will follow at Newcastle Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Judy was born on August 1, 1952, in Sherman, Texas to the late Calvin and Lucille (McCollum) Woodall. She married Gary Don "Donny" Hobbs on May 2, 1975, in Graham. She moved to Newcastle in 1974 from Graham and was a member of First Baptist Church. Judy graduated from LVN school in 1985 and had worked for Olney Hamilton Hospital for 38 years until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling and loved the mountains. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Calvin "Shorty" Woodall and Donnie "Cowboy" Woodall; two sisters, Alice McCune and Sherry Morris; and her mother and father-in-law, Nelda and Garland Hobbs.

Judy is survived by her husband, Gary Don "Donny" Hobbs of Newcastle; two daughters: Stacy Speers of Olney and Kim Gray and husband Jarmell of Ft. Worth; two sons: Tommy Kimbro and wife Debra of Olney and Jeff Hobbs and wife Chelsey of Jacksboro; one sister, Melba Wright of Rosamond, California; one brother and sister-in-law, Paul Woodall and wife Chasity of Schulter, Oklahoma; one brother-in-law, Billy Hobbs of Newcastle; ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
