Junior Orejel, age 63, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at University Park Nursing Home in Wichita Falls, Texas. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Junior was born on June 20, 1960, in Blythe, California to the late Dora Perez Orejel and Ygnacio Orejel, Sr. He worked for BNSF Railroad for 41 years as maintenance of weigh foreman. He loved trains and working with the railroad. If something needed fixing, he would figure it out. Junior married Stephanie Moore on June 22, 2002 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a very loving and kind person and was loved far and wide by all whom he met.

Junior is survived by his wife, Stephanie Moore Orejel of Olney, Texas; one daughter, Angelina M. Orejel of Wichita Falls, Texas; two brothers and two sisters: David Orejel, Virgil Orejel, Edina Orejel and Diane Orejel Greenhalgh all of San Jose, California; as well as several nieces and nephews.
