Kenneth Chapman, age 76, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Hamilton Hospital in Olney, Texas. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Kenneth was born February 16, 1946, in Dallas, Texas to the late Odell Chapman and Pat (Lucas) Chapman. He served his country proudly in the United States Army. He moved from Arkansas to Olney in 1975 and was the former owner of Ken's Plumbing in Olney. He was a former member of the Olney Volunteer Fire Department. He married Glenna Joan Johnston on February 15, 2001 in Breckenridge, Texas. Kenneth worked in the building maintenance department of Olney Hamilton Hospital and retired on April 26, 2010. He enjoyed making knives and loved to hunt and fish and won several trophies for being a Bass Master. Kenneth was a huge fan of John Wayne and loved all of his movies.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Glenna Chapman of Olney; one daughter and son-in-law, Holly Pannell and husband Dee Pannell of Olney; one son and daughter-in-law, Cody Bill Chapman and wife Tommi Dawn Chapman of Graham; one step-son, Jeremiah Savage of Anaconda, Montana; one step-daughter, Dalayna Harnett of Anaconda, Montana; one brother, Jerome Chapman of Deport, Texas; one niece, Amber Sherman of Spring, Texas; eight grandchildren: Colton Williams, Courtney Williams, Aria Pannell, Kaylee Chapman, Cason Chapman, Hayden Gomillion, Rylan Monsey and Dax Chapman; six step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his dog Duke.
