Kenneth Wayne Lowe

Kenneth Wayne Lowe went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at United Regional in Wichita Falls, Texas, surrounded by his family. Family visitation will be on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 11:00 am at Newcastle Methodist Church, with David Bigley officiating. Burial will follow at True Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

He was born in Olney, Texas, on April 16th, 1964, to Gene and Thora Lowe. He grew up in True with his brothers, Kerry and Kevin. Kenneth graduated from Newcastle ISD in 1982 and joined his father and brother in farming and ranching. He was a dedicated, hardworking individual who cared deeply about providing for his family.

He married his lovely wife Melanie Maidens on May 20th, 1989. Together, they had three children who meant the world to him. He always wanted to bring his family together to go eat or watch a football game. He especially loved being “Pop” to his grandchildren.

Kenneth was a faithful member of the Newcastle Methodist Church for his entire lifetime. His active volunteer work in the community, steadfast faith, and giving spirit made him a pillar of the church and the surrounding community. He served on the Olney Hamilton Hospital Board for 2 years, the Newcastle ISD Board for 12 years, the Fort Belknap Electric Co-op Board for 15 years, and the National Resources Conservation Board for 16 years, leaving behind a legacy of service and love. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Kenneth Lowe will be remembered as a beloved husband, devoted father, loving pop, and steadfast friend. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who received his love, help, and guidance.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene Davis and Thora Eunice (Neelley) Lowe; his brother, Kevin Lowe; and his grandson, Wyatt Jackson.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of thirty six years Melanie Lowe of True, Texas, his children: Dakota Lowe and wife Mackenzie of Graham, Texas, Matthew Lowe and fiancé Hayley Danley of Graham, Texas, Charitye Jackson and husband Parker of Olney, Texas, and his bonus son Brandon Martin, his three grandchildren: Casen Wayne Jackson, Scarlett Jackson, Maddalena Lowe, and Quinn Jean Jackson, his brother and sister-in-law Kerry Lowe and wife Phyllis of True, Texas, He is also survived by his father and mother-in-law, Robert and Kathy Maidens of Eliasville, Texas; his nephews: Cody Lowe and wife Allison, and Shot Lowe and wife Natalie, his niece: Lacey Lowe, along with many other nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
