Lauarence J. Blackburn, age 71, died Wednesday, June 24, 2015 in Olney. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Lauarence was born November 12, 1943 in Panama City, Florida to the late Joseph M. and Elmira (Van) Blackburn. He served his country proudly in the United States Army for three years and he was an auto mechanic. Lauarence moved to Olney in 2002 from Champagne, Illinois. He and Anna Marie Ellyson were married July 29, 1973 in Danville, Illinois. She preceded him in death on January 7, 2014.

He is survived by four sons: Richard Pittman and wife Melinda of San Antonio, Texas, Robert Pittman, Sr. and wife Anna of Olney, Mike Pittman of Lafayette, Indiana, and Billy Blackburn and wife Krista of Hagertown, Maryland; two brothers: Jeffrey Blackburn of Rantoul, Illinois and Greg Blackburn of Johnstown, Pennsylvania; and two sisters: Sharon Blackburn and Blanche Blackburn both of Rantoul, Illinois.
