Laura Mireles, age 52, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Hospice of Wichita Falls. Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Laura was born on May 8, 1972, in Falfurrias, Texas, to Nicolas Lara and Maria Esperanza. She married Ramon Mireles on October 24, 2008, in Olney, Texas. Laura was very family-oriented and cared deeply for her family, her parents, her children and grandchildren, her siblings, and her nieces and nephews. She took great pride in caring for her pets, especially her dog, Solo, and plants. Laura enjoyed watching movies, especially comedies, listening to music, and going to feed the ducks. She had a soft spot for road trip snacks, including ice cream, chips and dip, and Doritos.

Laura is survived by her husband, Ramon Mireles of Olney, Texas, her sons, Jason Martinez, of Olney, Texas, and Angel Nicolas of Alice, Texas, her parents, Nicolas Lara and Maria Esperanza of Falfurrias, Texas, her two brothers: Rolando Lara and Nicolas Lara, Jr. both of Falfurrias, Texas, her two sisters: Maggie Lara of Falfurrias, Texas and Cecilia Lara of Premont, Texas, and several nieces and nephews.
