Laura Willis Rivard, age 92, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Texhoma Christian Care Center in Wichita Falls. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2022, at True Cemetery in Young County. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Laura was born on June 7, 1930, in Crosbyton, Texas to the late Jesse W. Willis and Alberta (Cowart) Willis. She moved from Olney to Wichita Falls in 1958 and lived there most of her life. She worked at Wichita General Hospital in Wichita Falls as a medical records and insurance clerk until her retirement. Laura loved researching genealogy and visiting cemeteries looking for early family's graves. She loved to collect cookbooks and enjoyed going out to eat, especially Mexican food. Laura truly enjoyed being around her family and taking care of them and will be greatly missed.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers: L.B. Willis, Arwood Willis, Jesse Boyd Willis and Bill Willis; and her son, Kevin Rivard.

Survivors include her two daughters and sons-in-law: Lesa Ikeler and husband Joe of Wichita Falls and Lori Hallock and husband Scott of Wichita Falls; six grandchildren: Brianna Greenway of Burkburnett, Jacob McCaskill of Wichita Falls, Jeremy McCaskill of Wichita Falls, Justin McCaskill of Wichita Falls, Joshua Rivard and Klinton Rivard; and eight great-grandchildren.
