LaWanna Marie Burns joined her Heavenly Father in His mansion on March 6, 2012.
LaWanna was a lifelong resident of Olney. She was an avid fisherman, a great cook, and a beloved Mom, Nana, Sister, Aunt, Niece, Cousin, and Friend. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Her most recent employment was as a caregiver for the elderly and infirmed. She dearly loved her quotpeoplequot and they loved her. She had the utmost respect and compassion for everyone in her care

LaWanna was born February 4, 1957 in Lubbock, Texas. She was preceded in death by her mother Peggy Jo Blevins in 1973, and her father Robert Clifford Blevins in 2010.

LaWanna is survived by daughter Kelly McNally and husband Rick of Joplin, Missouri two sisters: Debra Geis of Newcastle, Texas and Vicki Blevins of Milton, Wisconsin two brothers: Chris Blevins of San Antonio, Texas and Russell Blevins of Ryan, Oklahoma two grandsons: Ricky McNally and Matthew McNally and granddaughter Myleigh McNally all of Joplin, Missouri also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will all miss her.
