Leon West, age 77, of Jean, Texas passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at home. Memorial services will be Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at the Wests farm in Jean, Texas.

Leon was born on November 12, 1934 in Jean, Texas to Oscar Leon and Alice Drucilla Brumley West. He was a lifelong resident of Jean. He was a cowboy. He was preceded in death by his father, and one son, Ricky West.

Survivors include his mother, Alice West of Burkburnett, Texas two sons: Randy West, and wife Karen of Bowie, Texas, and Gary West, and wife Debbie of Wichita Falls, Texas two daughters: Karen Williams, and husband Richard of Round Rock, Texas, and Debbie West of California two brothers: Charles West, and wife Peggy of Loving, Texas, and Danny West, and wife Joyce of Jean, Texas one sister, Betty Patrick of Burkburnett, Texas five grandchildren, and three greatgrandchildren.
