Lillian Nolte, age 74, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022, at United Regional Healthcare in Wichita Falls, Texas. Family visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 7, 2022, at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2022, in the chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney with Kent Parks, officiating. Interment will follow at Newcastle Cemetery in Newcastle, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Lillian was born on October 18, 1947, in Chillicothe, Texas to the late Otis Golleher and Sue (Coker) Golleher. She married Marvin Nolte on August 8, 1977, in Wichita Falls, Texas, and they moved from Seymour to Megargel in 1978. Lillian enjoyed cooking and she was very particular about keeping her house clean. She liked to visit with her friends, neighbors and relatives, and she liked to keep up with current events by reading books and magazines. Lillian enjoyed shopping and buying things, whether practical or not.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Linda Treadway; a sister, Virginia Fortner; and two brothers: David Golleher and Garvis Golleher.

Lillian is survived by her husband, Marvin Nolte of Megargel, Texas; one daughter, Judy Forrest of League City, Texas; and two grandchildren: Jessica Bomar and Shane Bomar both of League City, Texas.
