Linda Phillips, age 73, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at United Regional Healthcare in Wichita Falls, Texas. Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Olney Hamilton Hospital Education Center, 902 W. Hamilton Street. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Linda was born on October 17, 1949, in Lamesa, Texas to the late Wesley Calvin Murphy and Charlcie Jean (King) Murphy. She married Danny Crozier in 1967 and to this union two sons were born, Richard and Chancey. She later married Raymond "Ray" Phillips on November 11, 1978, in Eastland, Texas. She was a long-time resident of Olney and a member of Southside Baptist Church. Linda was very supportive to her husband and children. She enjoyed working for the Olney Senior Cub Center for over twenty years and was currently the Assistant Director. She was an extremely caring and giving person and would do anything for anyone in need. Linda was strong willed and had a traditional mindset where marriage was concerned.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband "Ray", and a sister, Patsy Barnes.

Linda is survived by two sons: Richard Haskell Crozier and Chancey Carter Crozier both of Midland, Texas; one sister, Janie Wilson of Olney, Texas; two brothers: Calvin Murphy of Lewisville, Texas and Johnny Murphy of Lake Leon, Texas; four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
