Lisa McCluskey Hughes, age 50, died Monday, November 17, 2014, in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 21, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church in Olney with Rev. Harrell Braddock, Jr., pastor, officiating, assisted by Scotte Clark of Olney. Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery in Olney. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Lisa was born on February 10, 1964 in Olney, Texas to Eddie and Judy (Guttormson) McCluskey. She was a lifelong resident of Olney. She married H. L. Hughes on July 7, 1981 in Olney. Lisa was a homemaker, a musician and a poet. She loved to hunt and fish. Lisa was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Olney.

Lisa is survived by her husband, H.L. Hughes of Olney; son, Corey Hughes of Olney; father, Eddie McCluskey and wife Paula of Olney; mother, Judy Averett and husband Billy of Olney; three brothers: Russell Moore of Olney, Richard Moore of Wichita Falls, Tim Averett and wife Bonita of Olney; two sisters: Kathy Thomason and husband Ken of Wichita Falls, Piney Richards and husband Roy of Olney; two nieces: Chelsea Moore and Elicia Richards both of Olney; one great-niece, Ella Roberts and one great-nephew, Preston Moore, and many friends and loved ones.

Family visitation will be Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Lunn Funeral Home.
