Lloyd Heard, age 90, died Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Grace Care Center in Olney. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at Restland Cemetery in Olney, Texas, with Andy Graham, pastor of Southside Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Lloyd was born on September 16, 1928 in Spade, Texas to the late Clifford and Jewel
(Smith) Heard. He graduated from Seymour High School and farmed all of his life. He lived in Baylor County and Knox County for many years and was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Gerald Heard and Floyd Heard; a sister, Alwana Womble; and two infant daughters: Terry Lynn Heard and Sandra Raye Heard.

Lloyd is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda Heard Kessler and Michael of Alvarado, Texas; two sons and daughters-in-law: Allan Lloyd and Twana Heard of Benjamin, Texas and Glen Ray and Shana Heard of Gilliland, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Nancy Heard of Graham, Texas; four grandchildren: Amanda Kessler of Littleton, Colorado, Justin Kessler of Houston, Texas, Breanna Waldo of Benjamin, Texas and Ryan Paul Heard of Abilene, Texas. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Wanda Jo Heard of Munday, Texas.
