Louise York Estridge, age 78, died Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at her home in Olney. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2019 in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney. Visitation will be from 12 noon to 1:00 pm immediately prior to the service. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Olney. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Louise was born on August 3, 1941 in Graham, Texas to the late Felix and D. Lorus (Shadwick) York. She was a lifetime resident of Young County and moved to Olney from Graham. She graduated from Olney High School in 1959 where she was Band Majorette and twirler and also played basketball. She later attended Draughn's Business College. She was proud of always being an "A" student through her entire education. Louise married Donal Estridge on September 25, 1959 in Olney and helped operate their milk distribution business. She enjoyed supporting all of her children with their horses in 4-H and rodeo activities. She was very proud that all three of her children graduated from college. She was an avid fan of her grandson Zachary and followed all of his activities. Upon retirement, she enjoyed working in her flower garden, the Amity group activities and gatherings, the monthly Bunco group, along with being a member of the Cattle Women's Association.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and two brothers.

Louise is survived by her husband, Don Estridge of Olney; one daughter, Trudy Estridge of Fremont, California; two sons and one daughter-in-law: Tracy Estridge of McKinney; Todd and Shanna Estridge of Olney; one grandchild, Zachary Estridge, and numerous nieces and nephews throughout Texas and the rest of the U.S.
