Lowell David Guthrie, age 52, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Olney with Randal Hallford, pastor of Life Tabernacle Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2019 at Lunn Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Lowell was born June 9, 1967 in Houston, Texas to Wilburn and Norma Jean (Brown) Guthrie. He was a Cathodic Protection Inspector with Pipeline and Controls Services Company. He married Kim Williams on March 11, 1989 in Lawrence, Kansas. Lowell was a member of the Life Tabernacle Church in Olney and a member of NACE. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Ann Guthrie of Olney; three sons, Lowell Justin Guthrie and wife Emily Brooke Guthrie of Denton, Texas, Reagen Alexandar Guthrie and wife Cassidy Michelle Guthrie of Olney, Texas, and William Robert Guthrie of Olney, Texas; one daughter, Madison Taylor Reaves and husband Charlie James Reaves of Seymour, Texas; three brothers, Joel Guthrie of St. Petersburg, Florida, Louis Guthrie of Humble, Texas and Jerry Guthrie of Dallas, Texas; one sister, Lou Ann Guthrie of Corsicana, Texas; his father, Wilburn Guthrie of Humble, Texas; and three grandchildren, Clayton Guthrie and Jaxon Guthrie of Olney, Texas and Drew Guthrie of Denton, Texas.
