Madeline Womack Eddleman, age 92, died Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Seven Oaks Nursing Home in Olney. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2012, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Scotte Clark, minister of the Hamilton St. Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow in Restland Cemetery under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.
Madeline was born on March 27, 1920 to the late J.R. Jim and Laura Boone Womack in Springcreek, Texas. She was a lifetime resident of Young County. She and A.M. Eddleman were married December 29, 1939 in Throckmorton, Texas. He preceded her in death on October 19, 1993. Known to her family as Mamaline, she was a homemaker, and worked at Olney Drug Store for fortytwo years. She was a member of the Churches of Christ in both Olney, and Graham. Madeline was preceded in death by her parents, husband, seven brothers: Ray Womack, Wes Womack, Cecil Womack, Brent Womack, Bill Womack, Doc Womack, and J.R. Womack one sister: Pauline Freeze and her daughterinlaw, Doris Eddleman.
Mamalines survivors include her two sons: Ronald Eddleman of Graham, Texas, and Archie Eddleman and his wife Ruby of Olney, Texas four grandsons: Jim Eddleman and wife Lori of Graham, Texas, Mark Eddleman and wife Natalie of Justin, Texas, Don Eddleman and wife Pam of Santa Anna, Texas, and Coy Eddleman and wife Leslie of Muenster, Texas and eleven greatgrandchildren.
