~Mamie Foster, age 90, died on Monday, March 18, 2013 at Olney Healthcare Center. Graveside services will be on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at 3:00 p.m., at Restland Cemetery in Olney with Rev. Louis Golden, pastor of Rising Star Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.



Mamie was born on April 29, 1922 in Ft. Worth, Texas, to the late Robert and Nancy (Woodworth) Washington, Sr. She married L.M. Foster in 1970 in Olney, Texas. Mamie cleaned houses for a living in both Olney and Seymour. She moved back to Olney in 1995. Mamie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers: Jessie Lee Cross, Robert Washington, and Lawrence Washington; three sisters: Mable Thomas, Bernice Washington, and Leoma Thomas; three brother-in-laws: Milton Thomas, Alfred Pace, and Carl Thomas; and one nephew: Thomas Washington.



Mamie is survived by one sister: Arstine Pace of Olney, Texas; three nieces: Anna Golden and husband Louis of Olney, Texas, Brenda Pratt of Olney, Texas, and Carline King of Ft. Worth, Texas; and three nephews: Carl Thomas, Jr. of Houston, Texas, Lawrence Thomas of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Mike Pace of Atlanta, Georgia.
