Manuel Garcia, Jr., age 66, died April 7, 2013 in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at the First Baptist Church in Olney with Scotte Clark of the Hamilton Street Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery in Olney under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Manuel was born on November 19, 1946 in Thornton, Texas to the late Manuel and Anita (Espinosa) Garcia, Sr. He and Margarita Herrera were married on October 15, 2005 in Olney, Texas. Manuel had worked as a detail mechanic and machinist at various businesses in Olney. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a Catholic. Manuel was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Joe Garcia; and a sister, Lucy Garcia.

Survivors include his wife, Margarita Garcia of Olney, Texas; four sons: Manuel Garcia and wife Christy, Oscar Garcia and wife Sandra, Paul Garcia and wife Elena, and Jimmy Garcia and wife Fina all of Olney, Texas; three stepsons: Richard Garcia, George Garcia, Jr., and Randy Garcia all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two stepdaughters: Rebecca Garcia and Anita Garcia both of Olney, Texas; six brothers: Willie Garcia of Randelett, Oklahoma, Modesto Garcia of McKinney, Texas, David Garcia of Olney, Texas, Robert John Garcia of Tulia, Texas, Jessie Espinosa of San Antonio, Texas, and Raul Garcia of Petersburg, Texas; six sisters: Juana Mireles of Amarillo, Texas, Luisa Garza of Lubbock, Texas, Patricia Jaime of Altus, Oklahoma, Elivida Reyna of Victoria, Texas, Mary Reyes of Rocksprings, Texas, and Anna Candia of Houston, Texas; also thirty-three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
