Margaret Odell Green, age 95, passed away May 7, 2018, at Grace Care Center in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2018 in the chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney, with Scotte Clark, of Olney, officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Olney. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Odell was born on November 29, 1922 in Loving, Texas to the late Avery Charles Chandler and Lena Blanch (Alexander) Chandler. She was a lifelong resident of Olney. She married Obie V. Green on January 3, 1938 in Graham, Texas. He preceded her in death on October 6, 2004. Odell helped her husband in the oil field, had worked at Haggar Slacks for nine years and was a wonderful homemaker. She loved hunting and fishing and loved to cook and sew. She loved to play 42 and 84, and was faithful to watch the Texas Rangers. Odell was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters: Faye Wallace and Ilene Leachman, and two sons-in-law: Jack Northrup and Ronnie Dixon.

Odell is survived by her four daughters: Anita Northrup of Olney, Jolene Knox and husband Buddy of Archer City, Kay Dixon of Olney, and Karen Reeves and husband Jim of Lakeside City; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Family visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Lunn Funeral Home.
