Margarita Garcia, age 67, died Thursday, October 7, 2021 at United Regional in Wichita Falls, Texas. Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 10, 2021, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 11, 2021, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Rev. Jacob Gallardo, officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Margarita was born July 30, 1954 in Robstown, Texas to the late Guadalupe and Julia (Carrasco) Herrera. She was a housewife and a member of the Catholic Church. She married Manual Garcia, Jr. on October 15, 2005. He preceded her in death on April 7, 2013. Margarita was a very caring person and enjoyed being with her family. She liked to cook, enjoyed tending to her plants and work in her garden, and loved taking care of her dogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Mary Garza and Enriquetta Serna; granddaughter, Samantha Perez; and grandson, Mark Perez.

Survivors include two daughters, Rebecca Perez of Olney, and Anita Garcia and wife Melinda Garcia of Olney; three sons, Richard Garcia of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, George Garcia, Jr. of Olney, and Randy Garcia of Olney; three sisters, Julia Garza of Yorktown, Texas, Anita Wilson of South Haven, Mississippi, and Elojia Sanchez of Killeen, Texas; three brothers, Juan Herrera of Victoria, Texas, Jose Herrera of Belton, Texas, and Andrew Martinez of Midland, Texas; life partner, George Trevino of Olney; six step-children, Ruby Enriquez of Olney, Emily Musgrave of Megargel, Manuel Garcia, Oscar Garcia, Paul Garcia, and Jimmy Garcia all of Olney; twenty-five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
