Maria Perez, age 70, passed away April 10, 2019 in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2019 in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney with Father Eugene Nyong of St. Theresa Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney, Texas.

Maria was born on April 15, 1948 in Valley Junction, Texas to Carmen and Bertha (Valadez) Perez. She was a homemaker and member of St. Theresa Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing and working crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles. Mary was well known for being able to fix things around the house. She played video games, but she mostly enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by three Sisters; Victoria Perez, Valentina Perez, and Anita Perez, all of Olney, Texas; One Brother; Rudy Perez of Olney, Texas; and by eight Nieces and Nephews; Johnny Perez, Rudy Joe Perez, Felicia Casteel, Bobby Perez, Carmon Lugo, Joey Munoz, Kristy Miller, and Brittany Perez-Dixon, along with numerous Great Nieces and Nephews.

Maria was preceded in death by her Parents and one Brother; Luis Perez.

Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2019, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home.
