Marilyn was born on January 23, 1944 in Olney, Texas to the late Onnie Pierce "O.P." Hall and Mary Marie (Gray) Hall. She lived in Olney most of her life and was a member of First United Methodist Church. Marilyn enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her daughter and grandchildren.  She always looked forward to the holidays and the special times she shared with her family and extended family by preparing the traditional holiday meals as they would gather to celebrate. Marilyn was a very generous and loving person and her generosity touched the lives of many residents in Olney and the surrounding area. She was a gifted and talented artist and used those gifts to teach art classes to hundreds of students over the years including numerous children after school. Her church family and community were the beneficiaries of her artistic ability.

She is survived by her daughter, Kaylee Cantrell of Wichita Falls; three grandchildren: Taylor Cadotte, Ace Cadotte and Ava Cadotte all of Wichita Falls; one sister, Jolene Bell of Archer City; one niece, Bethann Oswald of Archer City; one nephew, Gregg Bell and wife Anne of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; numerous great-nieces and great nephews, and one great-great-niece.
