Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 12, 2011, at the First Baptist Church in Newcastle, Texas with Jesse Edwards, pastor officiating. Interment will be in Restland Cemetery in Olney, Texas. Arrangements are under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Martha Nell was born on January 27, 1928 in Ft. Belknap, Texas to the late Claude and Nellie Beatrice Cutts Hardin. She and Raymond Gibbs were married November 16, 1946 in Newcastle, Texas. He preceded her in death on June 19, 2000. She was a rancher and operated Gibbs Meat Locker in Olney for twentyeight years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Newcastle.

She is survived by her three sons, Claude Gibbs, Chuck Gibbs and wife Mona, and Bruce Gibbs and wife Carolyn all of Olney, Texas her brother Lawrence Hardin of Newcastle, Texas her sister Arvilla Clayborn also of Newcastle, Texas and her two grandchildren Chance Gibbs of Dallas, Texas, and Courtney Gibbs of Wichita Falls, Texas.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 11, 2011 from 45 p.m. at Lunn Funeral Home.
