Mary quotLizquot Johnson, age 88, died Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at Mineral Wells Nursing and Rehabilitaion Center in Mineral Wells, Texas. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 10, 2011, at Rising Star Baptist Church in Olney, Texas with Louis Golden officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Liz was born on May 10, 1923 in Marlin, Texas to the late Theophilus and Eddie Gilmore Montgomery. She and Bennie Johnson were married on March 11, 1941 in Marlin, Texas. They moved from Graham, Texas to Olney in 1962. She was a retired homemaker and domestic attendant. Liz was a member of Rising Star Baptist Church in Olney. She was preceded in death by her husband on October 1, 1984 son Bennie Lee Johnson in 1941 two daughters Doris Prince in 1998, and Mary Love in 2000 two brothers Lee Smith and Robert Smith and a sister Alice Lewis.

Survivors include two sons: James Johnson and wife Teresa of Lawton, Oklahoma, Kelvin Johnson and wife Eva of Abilene, Texas two daughters: Patsy Robbins of Fort Worth, Texas, Linda Webster and husband Walter of Mineral Wells, Texas nephew James Thomas Smith niece Betty Jean Govan seventeen grandchildren, forty great grandchildren, and seven greatgreat grandchildren.
