Obituary

Mary Ann Guimarin Boyd, age 82, of Missouri City, Texas, died Monday July 4, 2011 in Sugar Land, Texas.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2011, in the chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Spencer Guimarin of Lucas, Texas officiating. Interment will follow at True Cemetery under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home, Olney.
Mary Ann was born July 30, 1928 in Olney, Texas to the late Laurin P. and Mary Andrew Guimarin. She and Doc Eugene quotGenequot Autry were married April 3, 1947 in Marlin, Texas. He preceded her in death August 29, 1961. She married L.R. Boyd, Jr. September 1, 1963 in Wimberley, Texas. He preceded her in death June 15, 1988. She moved to Missouri City, Texas in 1999 from Mobile, Alabama. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Olney, and St. Mark39s United Methodist Church of Mobile, Alabama. Mary Ann was a retired legal secretary and a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is also preceded in death by one grandson Benjamin Pounds.
Survivors include her children, Bruce Autry and wife Melissa, of Olney, Texas, and Kim Collier and husband Mark of Missouri City, Texas her two stepchildren Steve Boyd and wife Karen of Palestine, Texas, and Martha Pounds and husband Larry of East Point, Georgia two brothers, Jim Guimarin and wife Enadelia of San Antonio, Texas, and Spencer Guimarin and wife Bonnie of Lucas, Texas seven grandchildren, Matt Autry and wife Crystal of Austin, Texas, Paul Autry of The Colony, Texas, Jay Collier of Grand Prairie, Texas, Brittany Collier of Lewisville, Texas, and Russell Boyd, Will Boyd, and Jonathan Pounds also by two greatgrandchildren, Reagan Autry, and Ian Autry both of Austin, Texas, and six very special nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Lunn Funeral Home, Olney.
