Mary Ritchie "King" Huddleston, age 93, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at her home in Imperial, Texas. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on March 28, 2014 at Holders Chapel in Cool, Texas with Scotte Clark, of Olney, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.
Mary was born on June 16, 1920 in Coleman County, Texas to the late Grover and Nora (Nixon) King. She moved to Imperial, Texas in 1969 from Weatherford, Texas and was a faithful homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Imperial, Texas. She and Robert Melvin Huddleston were married on September 29, 1969. He preceded her in death on June 19, 1994.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bob; son, Troy Holladay, son-in-law, Billy Jack Hall, brothers: R.D. King and Earl J. King; sisters: Louvenia Rambo, Sybil Murray, Edna King and Nell King.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Nancy Hall of Imperial, Texas; daughter-in-law, Sandy Holladay of Olney, Texas; grandsons: Randall Pounds of Imperial, Texas, Quentin Haynes of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Greg McKenzie of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Ricky McKenzie; granddaughters: Tammy Rater of Utopia, Texas, Denise Oates and husband Leslie of Paradise, Texas; great-granddaughters: Brandi Fallwell of Mesquite, Texas, Emerson Tate and Parker Peterson of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Gracie Oates of Paradise, Texas; great-grandsons: Colt and Marlon Rater of Archer City, Texas; great-great-granddaughters: Kira and Kenzie Fallwell of Mesquite, Texas; sisters: Fay Grove of Denton, Texas, Bonnie Maxey of Toe, Texas, Ann Johnson of Odessa, Texas, Sue North and husband Robbie of Odessa, Texas; numerous nephews and nieces.
