Mary Ellen (Ward) Brower, age 91, of Kerrville, Texas, died Sunday, April 24, 2016. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at Westover Cemetery in Westover with Harrell Braddock, Jr., pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Olney, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Mary was born on April 12, 1925 in Clarksville, Texas to the late Robert and Veta (Humphrey) Ward. She was a member of the Methodist Church and was a retired legal secretary for the Federal Government. Mary was a former resident of Westover, Texas and moved from Dallas, Texas to Kerrville, Texas to be near family. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Bobbie Ruth Casey.

Mary is survived by two nieces: Dawn Graves of Kerrville, Texas and Melinda Brooks of Austin, Texas; one nephew, Mark Casey of Kerrville, Texas; brother-in-law, Charles Casey of Mission, Texas; one great-niece and two great-nephews.
