Mathew Samuel, age 62, passed away Monday, February 29, 2016 in Olney, Texas. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2016 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Olney with Father John Pechaco, officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney, Texas.

Mathew was born on October 3, 1953 in Kolkata, India to the late Michael Samuel and Bela Jessie (Massey) Samuel. He moved to Olney in 2011 from Dallas. Mathew had a college degree in engineering and was a technical engineer and supervisor at Tower Extrusions upon moving to Olney.

Mathew is survived by his children: Angielena Villarreal and husband Diego of Frisco, Texas, Christine Samuel of Dallas, Texas and Veronica Samuel of Denton, Texas; one brother, Steve Samuel of Dallas, Texas; two sisters: Margaret David and Agnes Shaw, both of Kolkata, India; and the mother of his children, Mary Samuel of Frisco, Texas.

Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2016 in the chapel of Lunn Funeral Home.
