Maxine Moore, age 84, of Graham, Texas, passed away Monday, March 23, 2015, in Graham, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2015 in the chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney, Texas with Harvey McQueen, of Megargel, Texas officiating, assisted by Chad Hopkins of Loving, Texas. Interment will follow at the Westover Cemetery in Westover, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.
Maxine was born on December 30, 1930 in Westover, Texas in Baylor County to the late Lloyd Barrett Hall and Lorene (Mobley) Hall. She married Robert Elvin Moore, Jr. on June 8, 1948 in Archer City, Texas. He preceded her in death on February 1, 1975. She moved to Graham in 1971 from Haskell, Texas. Maxine had worked at Hagar Slacks in Olney and for Falls Home Health as well as being a wonderful homemaker. She loved her sports, especially her Oklahoma Sooners, Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and NASCAR. She was affectionately known as "Granny Mac" and "Momma" to her family.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Bob Hall; two grandsons: Michael Moore and Joseph Moore; one great-grandson, Brock Howell; and one step-son, Ted Isbell.
Maxine is survived by three sons: Barry Moore and wife Freda of Graham, Texas, Joe Moore of Newcastle, Texas, Randy Moore and wife Ashley of Graham, Texas; three daughters: Kathy Richey and husband Ralph of Chico, Texas, Becky Jackson and husband David of Megargel, Texas, Donna Voyles and Steve Maxfield of Chico, Texas; one sister, Janet Tatum of Coos Bay, Oregon; sister-in-law, Georgia Hall of Wichita Falls, Texas; thirty-nine grandchildren; fifty-five great-grandchildren; fifteen great-great-grandchildren; extended family, Deida Isbell and her daughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family visitation will be on Thursday, March 26, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
