Michael Shane Lewis, age 49, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025, at his home in Olney, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the Christian Fellowship in Megargel, Texas. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Shane was born on July 29, 1975, in Olney, Texas, to Mike and Dorothy "Elaine" (Clayton) Lewis. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Olney. Shane enjoyed hunting, fishing, and keeping up with local sports statistics. He was a collector of John Deere collector items. Shane spent all his spare time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Lewis, and numerous grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

Shane is survived by his father, Mike Lewis of Texas; his sister and brother-in-law, Shannon and Russ Adams of Olney, Texas; his niece and her husband, Cierra and Trey Messimer of Olney, Texas; his nephew, Cully Adams of Olney, Texas, his sons Eli and Caleb Lewis of Ohio, his daughter and her husband, Ashleigh and Jacob Sinzun, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, two grandchildren, and three great-nephews.
