Miguel (Mike) Espinosa, Jr. was born in Thornton, Texas on February 5, 1949. He went home to be with the Lord on January 25, 2023, surrounded by loved ones and his loving wife. Mike loved his wife and family and his grandkids
were always a joy to him. He was a very giving person and was actively involved in his church. He enjoyed helping many missions and helped build many churches through his support in his early years.

Mike was employed by Bobby Joe Jennings of Lorenzo, Texas for many years as a farmer. They remained the best of friends until this day. Mike enjoyed farming, gardening, welding, and loved to keep his car clean and shiny. He also enjoyed listening to Spanish music, ice cream, and snow cones.

Mike is preceded in death by his mother, Lucia Espinosa, his father Miguel Espinosa Sr. and several of his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife Diolanda Espinosa of Olney, Texas;  his son, Rudy Espinosa (Becky) of Lamesa, Texas; his daughter, Rita Gallardo (Jacob) of Olney, Texas; and his son, Sammy Espinosa (Sandy) of Tulia, Texas.

He is also survived by  nine  grandchildren: Jason Gallardo, Zach Gallardo and his wife Melenda, Mike Gallardo, Dokota Gallardo all of Olney, Texas, Rico Espinosa and his wife Ida from Lubbock, Texas, Julio C. Espinosa from
Norfolk, Virginia, Marc Espinosa from Lubbock, Texas, Jonas Coronell and Giovanni Espinosa from Lamesa, Texas.

His great grandchildren include Evalynn Espinosa, Jacob Gallardo, Zander Gallardo, Karenna Gallardo, Zuri Espinosa, and Novak Gallardo.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery in Olney. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home.
