Nancy June Renetta Kelley Kanady, age 60, died Wednesday, November 2, 2016 in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 4, 2016, in the chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney, with Darren Ward, Chaplain of Hospice of Wichita Falls, officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery in Olney. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Nancy was born July 29, 1956 in Flint, Michigan to Balus William Kelley and Wennona Pearl Gugin Koonce. Nancy had been a newspaper reporter, a house keeper, and a dry cleaner. She married Bobby Wayne Jones on July 27, 1973. She later married Jerry D.
Kanady on April 20, 1996. She and Jerry moved to Olney in 2009 from Abilene. She was a member of the Episcopal Church.

Nancy was preceded in death by her mother in 1987, her father in 1995, and her half-sister, JoAnn Schlotski in 1985.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Jerry Kanady of Olney; one daughter, Kelli Cobb and husband Ronnie of Olney; one son, Balus Holden of Olney; four grandchildren: Kaleb Seth Cobb of Olney, Balus K. Holden of Abilene, Zhawn Holden of Abilene, Kailey M. Holden of Abilene; her foreign grandchildren: Jacub Osvald, Chan Kang, Bo Ping, Michaela Cincurova, Marija M. Jovanovic, Alex, Niky Pavetekova, Ji Youn Ahn, Hyo-Jin Kim. She is also survived by many dear friends including Brenda DeWitt of Alabama and Nancy Rochelle, and her two cats, Monkee and Miss Cheetos, and her three dogs, SonJah, Chico, and Baby Bear.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Lunn Funeral Home.
