Norvell Wilton, age 79, died Thursday, September 17, 2015 at his home in Olney, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Restland Cemetery in Olney with Chad Edgington, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Norvell was born on February 10, 1936 in Jermyn Texas to the late Charles and Lydia (Evans) Wilton. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army for two years. He was a retired mechanical engineer for an aircraft company. He married Joann Middaugh on December 29, 1971 in Olney and was a lifetime resident. Norvell loved triking and was a member of the Brothers of the Third Wheel. He was preceded in death by one son, Leland Wilton; one daughter, Janice Reeves, and seven siblings.

Survivors include his wife, Joann Wilton of Olney; three daughters: Letha Young and husband Jason of Graham, Texas, Terri Cruit and husband Johnny of Mt. Vernon, Texas and Rhonda Glaze of Olney; two sons: Joe Lee Glaze of Burkburnett, Texas and Bobby Carl Glaze and wife Mia of Olney; one brother, Eugene Wilton of Burkburnett, Texas,; one sister, Oretha Crabtree of Dallas, Texas; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
