Opal Williams, age 94, died Monday, November 7, 2011 at Hamilton Hospital in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 10, 2011 in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home, with Scotte Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Restland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Opal was born March 29, 1917 in Winters, Texas, to the late Jasper Earl and Bessie Ada Keith Clark. She was born and raised in Comanche County, Texas and attended school in Beattie, Texas. Opal and D.O. Williams were married on September 11, 1938 in Comanche, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hamilton Street Church of Christ in Olney. Opal indulged in crafts of all kinds. She especially loved making Christmas stockings for her family and friends. Opal was preceded in death by her husband on December 11, 1984.

She is survived by her daughter Billie Beth Fails of Freeport, Texas a grandson, Curtis Fails of Freeport, Texas a granddaughter Michelle Fails of Freeport, Texas a brother Wayne Clark of DeLeon, Texas two nephews Dwight Clark of DeLeon, Texas, and Sammy Bentley of Austin, Texas brotherinlaw Walton Williams of Robinson, Texas extended family members: Donna McCluer,
Nita Hearne, Norman, Ronny and George Medlen and two very special friends Becky Dixon and Thelma Routon.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 from 6:00 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
