Obituary

Ophelia Ann Stout, age 74, died Saturday, February 15, 2014, in Olney, Texas. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Oakwood Cemetery in Jacksboro, Texas with Scotte Clark, of Olney, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Ophelia was born on November 30, 1939 in Aspermont, Texas to the late Harold Newton and Evie Faye (Sawyer) Kingery. She moved to Olney, Texas in 2004 from Jacksboro, Texas. She and Dan Stout were married in Jacksboro, Texas on May 13, 1965. He preceded her in death in 1997.

Ophelia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Stanley "BoBo" Lewis; one daughter, Barbara Widner; and, two sisters: Doris Jean Kingery and Melissa Powers.

Ophelia is survived by her two sons: William Newton Lewis of Jacksboro, Texas and Charles Wayne Stout of Graham, Texas; two daughters: Dixie Creswell of Olney, Texas and Judy Hanes of Seymour, Texas; two brothers: Harold Lovell Kingery of Abilene, Texas and Mickey Pruitt of Mineral Wells, Texas; five sisters: Nefa Ermine Sparks of Mesquite, Texas, Barbara Wilbourn and Althia Gay both of Arkansas, Diane Beam and Connie Pruitt both of Mineral Wells, Texas; ten grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.

Family visitation will be Thursday, February 20, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Lunn Funeral Home.
