Oran Reagan Calhoun, 87, died on Wednesday, August 15, 2012, in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be on Friday, August 17, 2012, at 2:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with F. M. Small of Weatherford, Texas, officiating. Burial will be at Elbert Cemetery in Elbert, Texas. Arrangements are under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Oran was born on June 27, 1925, in Limestone County, Texas, to the late Clifford and Mary Wills Calhoun. He moved to Olney in 1954. Oran called himself a flat fixer, and helped anyone with anything. He married Kassie C. Easley on December 30, 1949, in Groesbeck, Texas. Oran was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.

Oran is survived by his wife, Kassie of Olney, Texas: three daughters, Irene Owens of Wheeler, Texas Brenda Stone and husband Alan of Farmington, New Mexico Mae Paull and husband Jim of Lincoln Park, New Jersey: one son, Clifford Oran Calhoun and wife Terri of Olney, Texas: a nephew Jimmy Kee of Snyder, Texas a niece Patricia Anderson and husband Bobby of Lewisville, Texas: eleven grandchildren: Pam Smith and husband Brian of League City, Texas Becky Brooks and husband Josh of Graham, Texas Carley Owens of Wheeler, Texas Justin Reagan Calhoun of Olney, Texas Bobby Pike of Wichita Falls, Texas Justin Skinner and wife Ninette of Electra, Texas Stephanie Smith and husband Matt of Farmington, New Mexico Billy Stone and wife Jenny of Farmington, New Mexico Christopher Stone and wife Leilani Stone of Farmington, New Mexico Jessica Terrell of Olney, Texas and John Matus of Olney, Texas: and twenty greatgrandchildren.

Family visitation will be Thursday, August 16, 2012, from 67 pm at the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home.
