Pat J. Murdock York, age 77, died Friday, December 13, 2013, at Hospice of Wichita Falls. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Restland Cemetery in Olney, Texas with Roger Deerinwater, pastor of First Baptist Church in Archer City, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Pat was born on June 19, 1936 in rural Clay County, Texas to the late Otis and Bessie Lois (Rhoades) Murdock. She graduated from Megargel High School in 1955 and was a Baptist. Pat moved to Archer City, Texas in 1995 from Mesquite, Texas and was a faithful homemaker. She and Richard Allen York were married on March 5, 1955 in Waurika, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on January 2, 1998.

Pat is survived by her two sons: Rick York of Irving, Texas and Alan York and wife Teresa of Ladysmith, Wisconsin; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild and two sisters: Betty Clark of Jacksboro, Texas and Janie Light and husband Harvey of Archer City, Texas.
