Patricia Ann Mixon passed away on February 14, 2026. Patricia will be laid to rest in a private family burial at Restland Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney.

Patricia was born on October 6, 1946, to Otto and Margie Mixon. She loved playing with her cousins and riding her horse "Smokey Joe". As a child, Patricia was fascinated with the Native American culture. She was also a member of the Campfire Girls. At 16 years old, Patricia gave birth to her only child, Phillip. She and Phillip moved to Midland and lived with her Aunt and Uncle so she could attend Midland High School. Patricia's favorite class was Art, and she enriched her education of the subject by attending MSU and UNT in Denton. Patricia worked at El Paso Natural Gas at Claydesta in Midland, TX, for 22.5 years as a switchboard operator and receptionist, all while caring for her son. She continued her passion for art and sold it at galleries and art shows. Patricia liked to attend powwows and mountain man rendezvous, even making her own clothes for the events. Patricia bought and sold dolls and vintage toys in antique stores in Midland. She liked the Peanuts gang, especially Snoopy and Woodstock. In Midland, she was known as the "Turtle Lady" in the neighborhood, having turned her backyard into a turtle sanctuary. Patricia loved the outdoors, butterflies, and deer hunting. She converted her garage into a doll-making workshop and sculpted, sewed, and worked with leather. She moved back to Olney to help take care of her Aunt and Mother. Patricia owned Boston Terriers most of her life and watched television westerns with them in her lap.

Above all, Patricia would like to be remembered as a Christian, caring and loving mother of Phillip, and faithful wife.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, two uncles, and one aunt.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Andrew Clinton, and numerous cousins.
