Patricia Ann (Ramsey) Harrington, age 86, passed away on February 2, 2026, at Slaton Care Center. Family visitation will be held at 10:00 am on February 21, 2026, before the memorial service. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on February 21, 2026, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Dr. Chad Edgington officiating. A private family inurnment will be held at Restland Cemetery. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Patricia Ann Ramsey Harrington was born to Jack Glenn and Myra Lee Keeter Ramsey on August 29, 1939, at home in Elbert, Throckmorton County, Texas. She died on February 2, 2026, in Slaton, Lubbock County, Texas. She had lived in Throckmorton, Young, and Lubbock counties. She attended school through the eighth grade in Elbert and then went to Throckmorton for high school. She was very proud of her Baptist upbringing, loved her Bible, and the old gospel songs. As a teenager, she played the piano for church services at the Elbert Baptist Church.

She was very proud of her four children, Charlotte, Dwayne, Dalton, and Cheryl. After they became school age, she worked for Throckmorton County in the Sheriff’s office, County and District Clerk’s office, Justice of the Peace office, and as the County Judge’s secretary. When the current Judge, W. T. Lindsey, passed while in office, the county commissioners appointed her to fill his term in office making her the first female to hold this position. She served as Throckmorton County Judge from February 14, 1985, to July 20, 1990. She presided over the Texas Sesquicentennial festivities for Throckmorton County and the arrival of the commemoratory wagon train. After serving as County Judge, she became the Throckmorton County Memorial Hospital administrator.

She fulfilled her dream of owning her own business by attending Merle Norman Cosmetics training in Los Angeles, California. After training and completing the application and approval process, she opened her first store in Breckenridge. Soon to follow was a second store in Graham. After opening the store in Graham, she moved to Graham and closed the Breckenridge store. After the death of her parents and her daughter Cheryl, she moved to Lubbock.

Patricia was preceded in death by her son, Dwayne, daughter, Cheryl, and grandson, Brandon. Also, preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Myra Lee Ramsey, and her brother, Glenn Ramsey.

She is survived by daughter, Charlotte Cragar, and son, Dalton Harrington. In addition, she is survived by five grandchildren, Brittany, Ryan, Laura, Kyle, and Amy. And, six great grandchildren, Calem, Keely, Deacon, Madalyn, Connor, and Kohen. She is also survived by her sister, Janice, and brother, Mike.
