Patsy Ruth Brazelton

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Patsy "Pat" Ruth Brazelton, passed away on September 2, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 88.

She was born on February 17, 1938, in Olney, Texas, the only child of Odus and Grace Cockburn.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, William Franklin Brazelton, Jr.

Pat is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William F. Brazelton, III and wife Kathleen of Benbrook, Texas; her daughter and son-in-law, Candace Lee Smith and husband Mike of Prosper, Texas; one granddaughter, Tessa Ruth Smith of Prosper, three grandsons, Nicholas Montes and his partner Courtney of Weatherford, Texas Sebastian Montes and his partner Lea of St. Paul, Minnesota, and Kaleb Montes and his partner Jennifer of Saginaw, Texas: one great grandson Oliver Frances Montes of Weatherford, Texas: two great granddaughters, Meghan Barbose of Keller, Texas, and Adda Jacobs of Saginaw, Texas.

Pat was admired for her many creative talents which included award-winning watercolor paintings, interior decorating and floral design.

Pat will be remembered by many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss her.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, September 8th at noon at Lunn Funeral Home, 300 South Avenue M, Olney, Texas.

Burial will follow in Restland Cemetery in Olney, Texas.
