IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Paul Carlton
Autry
July 18, 1985 – August 21, 2023
Paul Carlton Autry
or more commonly known as Paul Wall
Born to Bruce and Melissa Autry on July 18, 1985, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Lived most of his life in Olney, Texas, but couldn't wait to get out and on his own. Graduated from Olney High School in 2004.
If anyone ever asked his mom how Paul was doing, all she could every say is Paul is still Paul, and everyone knew exactly what that meant. He was their wild child with the biggest heart you have ever seen. He was a free spirit and lived his 38 years of life to the fullest. He loved his pickup truck and treated it like it was his baby. He could drive you crazy, but everyone still loved him. He always had a smile and loved to laugh. On a trip to Florida with his mom and Debbie Pace, following the Olney High School band kids to Disney World, he would listen to comedians he had on cassette tapes with headphones on and laugh his head off and we had no idea what was being said, but at least he wasn't bothering us. We could go on and on with stories about Paul, but there is not enough room in this celebration of his life.
He was survived by his parents, Bruce and Melissa Autry, his brother and his wife, Matt and Mandi Autry, his nieces and nephew, whom he loved with all his heart, Reagan Autry, Ian Ryan Autry, Lola B. Autry and Harlo J. Autry. His aunt and uncle, Kim and Mark Collier, his uncle and aunt, Joe and Cindy Brown. His cousins, Jay Collier, Brittany Collier Brens and Bailey Brown.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Momma Joyce and Daddy Joe Brown, and by his paternal grandmother, Granny, Mary Ann Boyd.
In the words of Robert Earl Keen, the road goes on forever and the party never ends!
