Paul Hugh Gaskamp, age 73, died Monday, March 28, 2022, at Grace Care Center in Olney. Memorial services will be at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Paul was born on July 9, 1948 in Waco, Texas to the late Robert Hugh Gaskamp and Helen Louise (Thompson) Gaskamp. He served three years in the United States Army and was honorably discharged at the rank of SP5. He was a carpenter until his retirement. Paul moved to Olney in 2021 from Waco. He was a kind and gentle man and was always eager to help anyone in need. He was a good father and will be missed by his family and friends. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Timothy Flenniken.

Paul is survived by one son, Shaun Gaskamp and Charlotte Bond of Olney, Texas; two sisters: Kathy Downy of San Angelo, Texas and Linda Souders of Leroy, Texas; and four grandchildren: Vivi Bond, Chloe Bond, James Bond and Catherine Bond all of Olney, Texas.
