Pedro quotPetequot Rodriguez, age 72, died Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at his residence in Olney. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday February 3, 2012, at the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Richard Lunsford officiating. Burial will be in Mexico. Arrangements are under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Pete was born on March 9, 1939 to the late Anastario and Antonia Ramirez Rodriguez in Guanajuato, Mexico. He and Helen Angelita Sanchez were married on September 27, 2001 in Olney, Texas. He had worked as an aluminum factory worker. Pete was a lifelong resident of Olney. He was a Baptist He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Survivors include his wife Helen Rodriguez of Olney, Texas his children: Ernesto Rodriguez of Atlanta, Georgia, Juan Carlos Rodriguez of Mexico City, Mexico, Succero Rodriguez of Austin, Texas, Alfredo Rodriguez of San Felipe, Mexico, Mario Sosa, Jr. of Olney, Texas, Angela Aleman of Falfurrias, Texas, Caroline Sosa of Olney, Texas, Nick Sosa of San Antonio, Texas, and Amy Sue Sosa of Wichita Falls, Texas. Pete is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Thursday, February 2, 2012 from 57 p.m. at the funeral home.
