Obituary
Rachael Petit, age 54, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Hamilton Hospital in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home, with Stephen Collard, officiating. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery in Olney. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Lunn Funeral Home.
Rachael was born on October 18, 1962 in Alice, Texas to Richard G. Guerra, Jr. and Adela Trejo Guerra. She was a lifetime resident of Olney and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was a retired maintenance worker for Olney Independent School District. She was preceded in death by her mother, Adela Guerra on December 22, 2012.
Survivors include her daughter, Dionecia Petit of Olney; her father, Richard Guerra of Olney; two sisters: Yolanda Corwin and Christina Smith, both of Olney, as well as several nieces and nephews.
