~ Ray Phillips, age 68, died Saturday, January 19, 2013 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2013 at the Church of Christ Fellowship Hall in Olney, Texas, with Scotte Clark officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Ray was born on March 9, 1944 in Olney, Texas to Veda Francis Jones and Sewell Hoffman. He and Linda Murphy were married on November 11, 1978 in Eastland, Texas.
Ray had worked as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver. He was a lifetime resident of Olney. Ray was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his father, and a brother, Sewell Hoffman, Jr., and his daughter, Annette Phillips.

Survivors include his wife of thirty-four years, Linda Phillips of Olney, Texas; four sons: Richard Crozier and wife Eileen of Connecticut, Denny Phillips and wife Jennifer of Washington, Chancey Crozier of Midland, Texas, T.J. Phillips and wife Jennifer of Newcastle, Texas; two daughters: Kelly Jones and husband Miles of Olney, Texas, and Donna Klein and husband Jim Of Bowie, Texas; his mother, Veda Francis Jones of Olney, Texas; a brother, Garland Phillips and Gena of Olney, Texas; two sisters: Diane Kinser and husband Claude of Newcastle, Texas, and Felicia Jones of Olney, Texas; sixteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
