Raynaldo "Ray" Acuna, Sr.

Olney ~ Raynaldo "Ray" Acuna, Sr., age 75, died Thursday, July 16, 2015 in Olney.
Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 20, 2015, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2015 in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Father John Pacheco, officiating. Interment will be in the Seymour Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Ray was born May 28, 1940 in North Hine, Texas to the late Genovevo Acuna and Cruz (Elizondo) Acuna. He moved to Olney in 1989 from Megargel was a farmer and owner of Ray's Taquitos in Olney and Granny's Taquitos in Graham. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather to all his family. Ray loved farming, ranching and fishing. He married Virgilia Gutierrez and she preceded him in death on April 6, 1995. He married Isabel Valdez on December 10, 2001 in Graham. Ray was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Acuna and Genovevo "Jim" Acuna, Jr. and two sisters, Melissa Martinez and Cruisita Ibarra.

He is survived by his wife, Isabel Valdez-Acuna of twenty years; his children: Irma Kellar and husband Randy, Imelda Acuna, Ray Acuna, Alfonso Acuna and wife Edie, Gilbert Acuna and wife Paula, Robert Acuna and wife Robin, Raynaldo Acuna, Jr. and wife Lisa, Irene Lozano and husband Louis; step-children: Cynthia Hinojosa and Jimmy Langley, Irene Green and Frank Vick, Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Garza, Michelle Garza and John Gonzales, Barbara Garza; brother, Raymundo Acuna; sister, Esther Acuna; and all his grandkids, great-grandkids, and step-grandkids.
