Rickey Keng, age 73, passed away Monday, December 5, 2022, at his home in Olney, Texas.  Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2022, at  Southside Baptist Church with Mike McKinney officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Rickey was born on June 21, 1949, in Olney, Texas to the late Samuel Lewis Keng and Reta Faye (Hammond) Keng and graduated from Olney High School in 1967. He married Paula Alexander on June 5, 1970, in Olney. He lived in Coppell and had worked at R. Jones and Associates in Dallas as an upholstery/material cutter. After his retirement, Rickey moved back to his hometown of Olney in 2016 and was an active member of Southside Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He enjoyed watching football, especially the Texas Longhorns and the Dallas Cowboys and he was also a huge fan of Formula One racing. Rickey was a true people person and loved talking and telling stories. He loved to travel in his RV and to spend time at Lake Fork and valued and cherished the time spent with his children and grandchildren. To sum it all up – Rickey loved life!

Rickey is survived by his wife, Paula Keng of Olney; one daughter, Tifany Keng of Olney; one son and daughter-in-law, Joshua and Mackenzie Keng of Flower Mound; one granddaughter, Abigail Martinez of Olney; and one grandson, Dayton Keng of Flower Mound.
